I hate math!

Not a question, but we may have an answer! Math is a game. Like most games, it’s a lot more fun when you know the rules and have a team to play with. Imagine walking onto the field at the super bowl having never seen a game and knowing none of your teammates.

When will I use this in real life?

All the time. Putting aside for now that many very lucrative careers require the use of these skills every day, it may be useful to make comparison to sports again. When will someone ever use a strong deadlift in real life? Well, any time they use their back or legs or heart! Math is the deadlift, squat, and bench press combined but for the brain - it makes you stronger and healthier.

Do you offer online tutoring?

Yes! There is an option in booking to choose whether you want to meet in person or online. You may also choose your preferred online arena (Zoom, Teams, Skype, or others).

How do I know you’re any good?

We have a combined decade of experience teaching and tutoring with an advanced knowledge of mathematics from PhD training and research. More importantly, your first meeting is FREE! Try us out, and if you don’t like our style you never have to see us again!

Where do we meet?

A variety of places work! We can work with you in any public spaces in Austin like the library or coffee shops, we can meet you in your home, or online!

Can I attend my child’s sessions?

Yes! For students under the age of 12, we typically expect a parent or guardian to be present or nearby during sessions.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

Please let us know as soon as possible. If you prepaid for your appointment, feel free to reschedule without further payment.
